Staying with the simple theme, Ive put this recipe together to entice one and all with 2 ingredients that go so well together, they make any recipe worth making. Im talking about cherries and chocolate, for the young and the old these surely are a treat. There is no fat in this recipe, Ive used egg white to combine the ingredients together:
200g dark chocolate, chopped
1 cup chopped glace cherries
3/4 cup coconut
1/3 cup castor sugar
1 egg white
200g dark chocolate, chopped
1 cup chopped glace cherries
3/4 cup coconut
1/3 cup castor sugar
1 egg white
pink food colouring
Grease your tray and line with paper, that is greased well. Preheat the oven to gas mark 4/180c
Melt the chocolate in a bain marie and spread over the base of prepared pan, leave in fridge to set.
Combine rest of ingredients together and spread over the chocolate, you dont need to flatten the top. Bake for around 15 minutes, cool and slice. Enjoy.
These are great as fun bites for parties.
